Friday
It feels like so much happened in such a short while.
Just a few days with the most important person of my life and it feels like everything lights up even more than it already did.
So well...
She landed here last wednesday, she went to work with me on thursday and I got a free day on friday, which is when our whole trip basically began.
We took our bikes to the center of Copenhagen for walking and for eating sandwich by the sea.
Of course we admired what the city has to offer which is mainly... bikes!
We went to The Royal Café (on Strøget) and enjoyed their fondant au chocolat.
We then walked to Den Sorte Diamant (Søren Kirkegaards Plads) which is Copenhagen's national photo museum and also a wonderful library.
After a brief exhibition we sat again by the water to enjoy our Coke Zero and lovers sitting in front of us.
After some shopping at Urban Outfitters we met my uncle and cousin in some kind of nice hidden bar. For those who might wonder, no, my cousin is NOT drinking a real mojito!
And after dinner at Sticks'n'sushis on Gammel Kongvej we enjoyed some more cocktails at Det Navnløse Bodega (Kingosgade 4, Vesterbro).
We then biked home and tried to get some sleep.
Saturday
I was asked to take pictures at a theater premiere (
Media Machine at Østre Gasværk, I highly recommend it!). The guests had to go through a fake interview and I was supposed to be the annoying paparazzi that takes hundreds of pictures.
Not the most interesting job on earth but so much fun! Plus, I got to take pictures inside and ended with a shot that I'm quite proud of.
Sunday
Time to take my sister back to the airport (and to get some crying done, it had been a while!).
Then I went to another theater play: Det mørk barn, another very nice surprise. It's a kid play and they had that very beautiful swing that I wanted to try so bad!
No swinging for me, but more shots taken!
And guess what we got for dinner with my aunt and cousin?
Yeah, more Sticks'n'sushis delis!
